A Message from the ACT Region Committee Chair 

Australia’s National Capital Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), has a progressive and vibrant spatial science community. The ACT Regional Committee of the SSSI represents this community, and as the current Chair I welcome you to browse this site for information on our various initiatives.
 
Our objective as a Committee is to service the needs of our members and play our part in growing the ACT community’s knowledge of the spatial sciences.

We encourage you to visit this site regularly for news of what is happening in the ACT Region.  We also value your feedback and ideas as to how we can better meet your needs.

We welcome members to participate through attending conferences, seminars and workshops, and contribute by serving on the ACT regional committee as well as being active in the ACT region. You can enhance your professional skills by presenting a paper at one of the many conferences, chairing meetings, or participating in forums.
