The Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute Membership year runs from 1st July through to 30th June. A range of memberships for individuals associated with the spatial sciences is available. Membership is open to all individuals irrespective of qualifications or professional standing.

Members join for a financial year, from 1 July to 30 June the following year. Join SSSI today! Pro rata membership is available for spatial and surveying professionals in Australia and New Zealand.

Regional and Commission Membership Allocation

Each Member will be allocated to the Region in which that member resides and be allocated to one or more Commissions according to the member’s interests and profession. If a member is allocated to more than one Commission, the member will choose one primary Commission for voting purposes. In addition, any individual member of the Institute aged 35 years or less will automatically be a member of the Young Professionals.
